Dr. David Luethy began his relationship with Piedmont International University in 1998. He has served as professor of Biblical Studies and Greek. He also served as Biblical Studies Division Chairman. He taught full-time at Piedmont until 2003 and transitioned to adjunct professor in the PIU Graduate School in 2004 and continues to serve as adjunct professor for Temple Baptist Seminary teaching in the area of New Testament Theology.

Dr. Luethy has enjoyed the opportunity to teach the Bible stateside and around the world, including as an instructor at the Oostenberg Bible Institute in Cape Town, South Africa from 2002 until 2006 and at the National Theological College and Graduate School in Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan and Uganda since 2003.

Dr. Luethy served as the pastor of Pleasant Union Christian Church in Lillington, NC from 1987-1995. He was interim pastor of Catawba Springs Christian Church, Apex, NC and has pastored the Grace Baptist Church in Hampton, VA since 2003.

David currently resides in Hampton, VA with his wife Ellie.
